The architectural design of Proximo was created by two renowned studios: British Rolfe Judd and the Italian firm Pininfarina. Their experience and high quality design allowed to create a world-class building with rich functionality that conforms to the guidelines of green building and provides a friendly working environment. The modern nature of the building is a result of an artful combination of highest quality materials – concrete, glass and aluminum. An elegant reception lobby, a multifunctional inner courtyard and the integration of common areas endow Proximo with a unique, refined nature.

The architectural design studio Rolfe Judd is the main author of Proximo’s concept. The team of architects, urban planners and interior designers has been operating in the market for nearly 50 years. The company was founded in 1968 in the UK, while its branch in Poland has been operating since 2006. The studio offers professional service in the area of comprehensive design of new buildings and adapting existing ones. Its experience is based on a broad range of projects involving office buildings, residential buildings, commercial buildings, public utility facilities, as well as urban planning.

Proximo’s concept is based on the latest trends in the design of office buildings. It takes into account all the advantages of the building’s location and its neighborhood – subway station, Daszyńskiego Rondabout and Warsaw Uprising Museum. Proximo is a friendly and safe place for tenants. Being open to the city, it is a reference point in the modern landscape of Wola district. This is facilitated by the introduction of pedestrian traffic to the central part of the concept, including service points on the ground floors of the buildings and making the reception lobby available directly from the street – through two-level entrance zones – as well as from the inner courtyard. The varying height of individual parts of the complex – including the terraces integrated into the connectors and abatements – emphasize the lightness of the buildings without influencing the efficiency of the internal area. Proximo offers world-class offices and service outlets and at the same time is a valuable element of the public space.

Pininfarina Extra is a part of the world famous design firm Pininfarina, whose history dates back to the year 1930. The company was founded by Battista “Pinin” Farina, one of the most reputable car designers of the time. Since 1986 Pininfarina has been expanding its scope of activities beyond the automotive industry to interior design and building design – including residential and commercial buildings, sports venues and hotels. The Pininfarina studio successfully combines new technologies with avant-garde attitude to designed buildings and consumer products. Among the long-time partners of the firm are: Ferrari, Maserati, Juventus F.C., Lavazza and Philip Morris.

It is enough to have a look at the two entrance lobbies and the inner courtyard to recognise the importance of Pininfarina’s architectural approach in building the identity of Proximo. The project aims to meet the expectations of future tenants by endowing the structure of the building with a unique, refined nature. The main lobby is distinguished by elegant wavy lines and streamlined surfaces – associated with the world of classic cars – combined with modern finishing materials. The whole creates a unique contrast which makes the space of Proximo so distinctive. The second hall – based on a similar concept – has been additionally integrated with a staircase, thus combining aesthetics with functionality.
